Padikathavan (2009) - Tamil Movie DvDRip Mediafire Links

Director Suraaj has tried his hand at time-tested theme. An average-looking youth, who falls in love with a rich and a charming girl. He overcomes a gang of baddies who bay for his blood to eventually hold the hands of his beloved. Suraaj has tried a marriage between action and comedy. However a sense of deja vu prevails as the film progresses.

The director has strictly applied the rules of Tamil film grammar in the first-half as the hero is ridiculed by his father, he spends his time with a set of good-for-nothing friends and cliched sequences leading to romance blossoming between the lead pair. Towards the latter part, the influence of 'mirch masala' Telugu action films cannot be denied.

Kanchana - Tamil Movie DvDRip

Kanchana is a 2011 Horror comedy film directed, written and produced byRaghava Lawrence as a sequel to his previous venture, Muni (2007). The film features himself in the lead role with Sarathkumar and Lakshmi Rai in other roles. The film released on 22 July 2011,[2] while a dubbed same-titled Telugu version was released a week earlier in Andhra Pradesh. In spite of mixed reviews from critics, the film became a commercial success in both languages. Raghava (Raghava Lawrence) is a typical jobless youth who spends his day playing cricket with his friends and beating up antisocial elements. However, he suffers from an irrational fear of ghosts, and retreats to the safety of his home after sunset. So great is his fear, that he prefers to sleep with his mother (Kovai Sarala) and have her accompany him to the bathroom at night. This creates major annoyance in the household, which is also populated by Raghava’s brother (Sriman), sister-in-law (Devadarshini) and their children.

One day, Raghava and his friends are forced to abandon their usual cricket ground and find a new one; they unwittingly select an abandoned ground which is rumored to be haunted. When they attempt to set up their game kit, a bizarre weather change scares them away. Raghava brings home his cricket stumps, which have been stained with blood from a buried corpse in the ground. Raghava forgets the incident and focuses on wooing Priya (Lakshmi Rai), the sister of his sister-in-law, who has come by on a visit. In the following days, his mother and sister-in-law are witness to sevearl paranormal phenomena at night; prominently a ghostly apparition walking the hallways. On consulting a temple priest, they perform three rituals to ascertain if the house is haunted. At the end of their rituals, their fears are confirmed, and a

Deiva Thirumagal - Tamil Movie DvDRip

Call 'Deiva Thirumagal' an honest attempt once again by director A L Vijay. And, perhaps the need of the hour too. It's far from the madding crowd of commercial masala films.
With no double meaning dialogues or flashy song sequences shot abroad or 'high-voltage' stunt scenes, the film is an emotional journey between a father and daughter and their love towards each other.
The USP of the movie is immaculate performance by Chiyaan Vikram. He plays a dotting father to a five-year-old daughter. But he is not the usual dad - he is an adult with the mental maturity of a five-year-old. The actor in Vikram seems to have taken it in his stride to deliver a power-packed performance.
Matching him by scene-to-scene is young Sara who plays his daughter. The sequences involving Vikram and Sara are the major highlight of 'Deiva Thirumagal'.

Thullatha Manamum Thullum (1999) - Tamil Movie

The hero Kutty (Vijay) returns to Chennai after serving a prison term of seven years in Pune (extra make- up to make him look aged would have been welcome here. He looks so fresh for one who had served a long term) and sings a stanza from his favourite song (it fits badly here because of the blaring sound made by the passengers who soon settle down to hear his story). Kutty longs to become a singer while working in an audio shop run by Mani (Manivannan).

Mankatha - Tamil Movie

The headline says it all. In 'Mankatha', Ajith pulls it off with his impeccable style and excellent performance, which is aptly supported by a racy script and brilliant execution by director Venkat Prabhu and his team.
If cricket was the USP of 'Chennai 28', the director's first film, 'Mankatha' is also based on the sport but with a difference. It is all about betting, money and the men behind it.
Ajith has appropriately chosen to do 'Mankatha' as his 50th film. It is a movie that has everything his fans would want. He shakes his legs vigorously, evokes laughter, does pulsating stunt sequences and utters catchy one-liners (with some of them going mute).

Engeyum Kadhal - Tamil Movie

Love is the only sane and satisfactory answer to the problem of human existence, they say. No one can understand this better than choreographer-actor-director Prabhu Deva, for reasons which are obvious.
So expectations were high on 'Engeyum Kadhal', his directorial venture. Though romance reigns supreme in this film, lack of enough care in the script and narration mar the flow. But hold on! Harris Jayaraj's music, Nirav Shah's cinematography and the crackling chemistry of 'Jayam' Ravi-Hansika Motwani set things right to a decent extent.
From Laila-Majnu to Karthik-Jessy, romance has been celebrated in various ways on screen. 'Engeyum Kadhal' follows this formula, and who knows, it may strike the right chord in today's youngsters, who vote for candyfloss stories.
Unlike earlier Prabhu Deva films that were more noisy, 'Engeyum Kadhal' is rather quite, sedate to start with. The movie is more like a gentle breeze touching your face on a cool evening.

Singham - Hindi Movie

Singham is such a mighty blast from the past, it leaves you reeling under its impact. Designed as a tribute to the pure, unadulterated action films of the Bachchan era, where a larger-than-life hero battled a mega-evil villain, with nothing but his principles and his bare fists, Rohit Shetty's retro film leaves you goofy, grinning and clapping with glee as the rivals indulge in in-your-face encounters, laced with in-your-face action, peppered with in-your-face dialogues, brimming over with in-your-face belligerence and brawn. Truly, Singham leaves nothing to the imagination and makes a singular appeal to testosterone alone.

Vaaranam Aayiram - Tamil Movie

Gautam Vasudev Menon’s Vaaranam Ayiram is intended to be a biography of an ordinary man. What could have been a subtly told story turns into a sloppy fare with way too much of daddy-glorification and emotional I-love-you-and-I-see-you-in-everything-dialogues. However, this memoirs-of-my-dad would have been a wonderful watch if it did not adopt a schmaltzy narrative often, more often than you think actually, interrupted with songs.

Singam

Cop stories doesn't necessarily mean the hero bashing goons, mouthing punch dialogue or standing stiff. The cop can be simple, straight forward and still accomplish his mission.
Filmmaker Hari and actor Suriya, who come together after 'Aaru' and 'Vel', have laced Singam, Suriyas 25th movie, with such events that sustain the attention of masses all through. Both have a major responsibility on their shoulders as their earlier cop stories ('Samy' and 'Kaakha Kaakha' respectively) did raise the bar in Kollywood. 'Singam', which sounds a masculine title, is a pukka commercial entertainer.
Though the story may sound similar to many mass masala movies before, Hari's pacy treatment to the screenplay and Suriya's screen presence gives necessary pep.
